Hey Trish,
Because Anna Karina is a beautiful actress. And the storylines of these 3 movies could relate to the song.
In Alphaville she falls in love, literally discover the word love.
In Bande à Part is she is used, because of Love.
In "Vivre sa Vie" she is becomes prositute. She IS love.
